The second the door closed behind (Genevieve Teague), Jason snapped the book shut, reciting the sentence he'd been re-reading the whole time his mother had been going on and one. His eyes flashed with magic and he smirked, his pupils dilating slightly.

Chapter 70: Leading Up To The Ball
Jason Teague is the son of Edward and Genevieve Teague and former Circle member of Lex Luthor, Tess Mercer, Patricia Swann, Davis Bloome and Oliver Queen. It was recently discovered that he is also a half-Dragon, descended from Dax-Ur, one of the purest lines.
History[]
Jason was a part of a Luthor Circle under the command of Lex for many years. He never questioned orders given by his commander, until he is kissed by and Enthralled (unintentionally) by Chloe Sullivan at Crouch End when she was retrieving the Balcoin Book of Shadows for her father, John Blackwell. He starts a riot within Crouch End to stop her from being caught by Marx and his lackeys.
After the Enthrallment ended, he began to exhibit differing opinions and actions that what Lex dictated, causing friction within the already splintered Circle. He and Lex eventually come to Smallville, where Jason takes up the mantle of Coach after Coach Walt Arnold, a Dabbler, is killed by his own magic backfiring while he was attempting to murder Chloe. During this time, Chloe is working in Nell's flower shop, which Jason visits and orders flowers, a hundred vases per day. He also attempts to actively protect her from Lex, who is planning on binding Chloe to their Circle against her will, as John Blackwell had promised the Luthor Family his Firstborn. Their relationship grows, just as her relationship with Lex grows, and they are eventually marked by her winged serpent within a heptagon symbol to help her complete her Firstborn Trials.

Chloe and Jason have a very complex relationship. They've been drawn to each other from the moment they first met but then they found out that they were apparently made for each other, literally. That, along with other revelations, has made things complicated and both have taken a step back to try and evaluate things.
